ABSTRACT:
The Peter Ahlstrom collection contains one 1855 outgoing letter from Ahlstrom to his family in Sweden. Ahlstrom was born in Sweden during October 1816. He immigrated to Illinois in 1855 and three months later he moved to Minnesota Territory and bought a farm west of St. Peter. In 1859 he married Maria Waleen and had two children. He died on 30 April 1894 in St. Peter.
