ABSTRACT:
The Faculty Meetings collection consists of meeting minutes and agenda packets from 1877 through today. Information includes generally academic programs and courses, campus plans, graduation requirements, anything in the faculty manual, curriculum decisions, and more broadly the college’s academic life. Although not always the case, packets include faculty committee meeting minutes and actions. In addition, faculty manuals and faculty handbooks are included. Materials are described chronologically by academic year. Indexes exist for September 1944-May 1952, September 1952-May 1961, and September 1961-May 1967.
Faculty meetings have occurred on a regular basis since 1877. Earlier, there is no documentation for such formal meetings. However, Education Committee and Board Meeting Minutes for St. Ansgar’s Academy contain much the same kind of information.
