ABSTRACT:
The W. E. Hanson collection consists of a broad assortment of materials from the early to mid-1950s. Documents pertain to Gustavus Adolphus College and include information about academics, finances, and a reorganization of the school’s administration. Additionally, the collection contains minutes, reports, and correspondence of the Board of Trustees. Hanson served as both President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and served as a member of the Bernadotte Foundation.
