Lost in Translation

When it comes to accents and other diacritical marks used in many languages, our catalog plays dumb. If you are searching for a person or title, try leaving out the diacriticals when you search the catalog.

Incidentally, if you see in the WorldCat mega-catalog that a book or film is in our library, but nothing shows up when you click the link, try retyping the search as if there were no diacritical marks.

We wish our catalog was more multilingual, but it's a bit shallow at times.

Finding Books and Articles

Your interdisciplinary search will lead you into different directions: in search of books here and in other libraries, into journals and popular publications, in sources in Spanish and English. These library databases will help with discovery.
