These are just some of the ways a nursing student might use our library in a typical day:

Check out a film that is required viewing for a course
Check out books for a paper on the history of the Nursing profession
Class meeting at the library to explore possible topics for a paper
Extracurricular meeting space: touch base with friends, student organization meetings
Meet friends to study together at night
Meet with a reference librarian for help finding Minnesota county health statistics for community assessment project
Meet with a reference librarian for help searching for research articles related to the case of a clinical patient
Meet with classmates to work on group assignment
Search for nursing research articles from the dorm
Stop by after lunch to check e-mail and print a paper
Study individually on the third "quiet" floor in the afternoon
