Dr. Shakti Butler will be on campus on February 18th to conduct an all-campus workshop from 2:30-5:00 pm on Understanding Whiteness as a 21st-Century Leadership Skill. Everyone - students, faculty, and staff - are encouraged to participate.  Among the questions this workshop will address are

  • What do we mean by "dominant culture"?
  • How does it operate?
  • What is structural racism?
  • What is unconscious bias?
