3rd floor (upstairs): A-PQ, oversize books, archives
2nd (main) floor: PR-Z, reference collection, browsing collection
1st floor (basement): Journals, government documents, audiovisual materials , children’s collection
Selected plays for the audition boot camp have been collected and placed in the Gustavus Library Associates Reading Room, on the main floor next to the e-classroom.
Come to the circulation desk (main desk) to check out books, videos, or journals. Just mention that you’re with the Audition Boot Camp, and we’ll check out the items to the appropriate account. Videos may be checked out for 24 hours. Reference books cannot be checked out.
There are over 70 computers in the library, with most of them located on the main floor. While most of the computers are PCs, there are a few Macs on the lower level of the library. For those of you with laptops, there is wireless internet access throughout the library. The first time you try to connect to the wireless network, you’ll be asked to register. Complete the registration process and then connect to the “Gustie Guest” wireless network.
To log into the library lab computers as a guest, use the following:
Username = Gustavus
Password = adolphus
Near the printers, there is a scanner that can be used to scan documents to .pdf (or other format) and send them to your e-mail account. Printing will be handled through the Theatre & Dance office.
