ABSTRACT:
This collection consists entirely of The Advance, a periodical that was published bi-monthly by the Executive Committee of the Minnesota Conference and sent out to members of participating congregations. It contains news relating to the Christian and Lutheran faiths, Gustavus Adolphus College, and financial reports. It also has current events relating to the Lutheran churches and parishes in Minnesota. Originally titled Minnesota Conference Advance, it was last published under this title in 1948.
