ABSTRACT:
The Euphronian Debating Society collection consists of two event guides and a ledger of meeting minutes and the group’s constitution. The Society’s goal was “to secure through the united efforts of its members the advantages of practice in debate, public speaking, and parliamentary law.” Membership was limited to twenty male students. This society was active at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.
