Finding Articles on Mexico in the Periodical Collection

This is the old-fashioned way of finding articles on a topic -- but still useful. To find historical articles on Mexico in Gustavus Library's print collection:

  1. Go to section A of the Reference Collection and find Poole's Index to Periodical Literature (the smaller tan set) and/or the Readers's Guide to Periodical Literature (the massive green set).
  2. Find the volume with the time period you want to search.
  3. Look up "Mexico" just like you would in a dictionary or any other index.
  4. When you find an entry for an article you would like to access, you can consult this list of periodicals that Gustavus Library has in its periodical collection. (But: Asking a librarian for help locating and gaining access to the article you want is highly recommended.)
