ABSTRACT:
The Eisenhower and Nixon Memorabilia Collection consists of items from Dwight D. Eisenhower’s presidency and Richard Nixon’s vice-presidency. It contains a press release of remarks made by President Eisenhower at the dedication of Hiawatha Bridge in Red Wing, Minnesota on 18 October 1960. Additionally, there is a letter addressed to Janyce Helgeson from a White House assistant thanking Helgeson for her birthday wishes to the President and her support for Vice-President Nixon, along with a card containing Nixon’s signature. Also included is Helgeson’s membership card in the Gustavus Adolphus College Nixon Club.
