Getting Research Help

Research can be creative, fun, and at times, frustrating. Luckily, librarians are available to help you along the way! Here are a some useful links for research help:

  • 24/7 Chat: When Gustavus librarians are not available, librarians from other institutions will be available to help you 24/7.
  • Research Help Appointments: Schedule a one-on-one consultation with a Gustavus librarian; both in person and virtual appointments are available. You can also email your questions to Anna (ahulsebe@gustavus.edu) or schedule a consultation with Anna.
  • Research Next Steps Program:  Fill out this form at any point in your research; a librarian will respond with suggestions and tips within two business days.
  • "Doing Research" Guide - Conducting college-level research requires a wide range of skills and competencies. This guide will help you complete research projects for any course, whether you're using library resources or not.
