Library Exploration Activity

Explore the library building - Explore all three floors of the library. Try to find at least one example for each item below. Jot down notes about what you find, including which floor you are on. Be ready to share what you found with your classmates. 

  1. Find a place where you can study by yourself
  2. Find a place where you can work on a group project
  3. Find a place where you can ask for help 
  4. Note at least one thing in the building that you find interesting or curious
  5. Your group will do one of the following:

    1. Visit the Native American History Month Display (in the Hasselquist Room in the center of the main floor). Note at least one observation about the selection of books in the display, or

    2. Visit the “History of the Americas: Indians of North America” section of the book collection at call number range E75 - E99 (located on the 3rd floor on the Chapel side of the library near the southeast corner). Note at least one observation about this area of the library collection
