Nelson, Ole Åke. Sermon Outlines in Swedish of Rev. Ole Åke Nelson, 1895-1910. LCA Collection 125. ½ Hollinger box.
ABSTRACT:
The Sermon Outlines of Reverend Ole Åke Nelson collection consists of two leather-bound record books containing handwritten sermon outlines in Swedish. Nelson was born 29 August 1855 and died 5 October 1926. He was educated at Gustavus Adolphus College from 1883-87 and Augustana Theological Seminary from 1887-89. Nelson was ordained 16 June 1889 and was a pastor in Princeton, Iowa, 1889-94; Emanuel Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1894-09; and Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1909-26.
