ABSTRACT:
The Edwin Peterson collection contains his Swedish-language autobiographical sketch written in 1900. Peterson was born in 1875 and came to the United States during 1882, settling first in Red Wing and then St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1898 and was ordained in Illinois in 1903. He was forced to retire in 1921 due to a series of illnesses.
