Cooperative Education. Collection of the Cooperative Education Program, 1970-1984. GACA Collection 398. 3 folders.
ABSTRACT:
The Gustavus Adolphus College Cooperative Education Program collection contains brochures, an alumni study, and student work. The main purpose of the Cooperative Education Program was for students to spend time off campus in an on-the-job learning environment. Students learned about career fields they were interested in by working in the field, while receiving academic credit by completing certain assignments. Cooperative Education assignments usually lasted one semester or more. A January Term Career Exploration was also an option.
