Lofgren, Lars.  “Protestant Song for Freedom: In Memory of the Swedish Hero King Gustavus II Adolphus,” c. 1958.  CAMC Collection 39.  1 folder.

ABSTRACT:
The Lars Lofgren collection contains one musical score.  Lofgren wrote lyrics to music originally composed by Gunnar Wennerberg (1817-1901).  Lars Lofgren was a Swedish foreign exchange student at Gustavus Adolphus College, who graduated in 1958, and received the Gustavus Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumni Citation in Fine Arts in June of 1979.
