Spender, Stephen.  Speech Manuscript of Stephen Spender, 1982.  CAMC Collection 52.  2 folders.

ABSTRACT:
The Stephen Spender collection contains an original and a photocopy of a speech given in 1982 by Stephen Spender about Raoul Wallenberg.  Spender was a poet and essayist who visited Gustavus Adolphus College to deliver this speech during a ceremony which conferred the degree Doctor of Laws upon Raoul Wallenberg.
