ABSTRACT:
The Emily Lundeen Skoog collection contains correspondence, in both Swedish and English, from family members. Most of the letters are from her brother John A. Lundeen while stationed at various military forts, and concern daily life. Emily Lundeen Skoog was born 11 March 1862, married Andrew L. Skoog 29 May 1893, and died 18 September 1951. She attended several semesters at Gustavus Adolphus College and taught at a country school.
