ABSTRACT:
This collection consists of Academic Bulletins and Catalogs produced in recent years by the Registrar’s Office at Gustavus Adolphus College. These bulletins contain a variety of information including brief information about departments and faculty members, requirements for graduation, academic calendars, attendance costs, and the college’s history and mission. Catalogs included course offerings, along with much of the same information as the bulletins. Early catalogs were often in English and Swedish. Many early editions contained lists of students under majors along with images of the school. Beginning in 1904, the Bulletin was published quarterly, the catalog always being one of those publications. In 2007, the Academic Bulletin, more commonly known as the catalog, became the only bulletin published each year.
