ABSTRACT:
The Gustavus Illini Club collection consists of a proposed version of the organization’s constitution. According to the document, the group’s purpose was “to organize Illinois students in order to foster interest in Gustavus Adolphus College throughout Illinois, perform social and service functions on and off campus, and promote alumni activities.” “Active membership [was] granted to residents and former residents of Illinois who are in good standing at Gustavus. . . .”
