ABSTRACT:
The Lyric Male Chorus collection consists of minutes, financial records, correspondence, and lists of member names. Only male students with singing skills were allowed to join this ensemble at Gustavus Adolphus College. Membership was limited to twenty members and attendance was mandatory at meetings and events. The organization formed during 1889 and lasted into the 1930s. Materials are organized by record type.
