ABSTRACT:
The collection of the Lutheran Student Association contains council minutes, financial records, newsletters, the President’s Handbook, and a photo and clippings album. The Lutheran Students Association, or LSA, was a national organization for Lutheran students attending any institution of higher education.  The group encouraged its members to study the teachings of the Lutheran Church, participate in the evangelism of the Lutheran Church, and strengthen friendships with fellow students on a Christian level. The group sponsored a number of campus events including picnics, speakers, worship services, and music festivals.
