ABSTRACT:
The Gustaf High Scrapbook collection contains seven scrapbooks compiled by Gustaf High throughout his life. Scrapbooks hold newspaper clippings from 1880-1935, mostly in Swedish, with some in English. Clippings concern events of the day, news, the lives of notables (especially Scandinavian nobility), articles relating to Sweden and Chicago, and some obituaries. Gustaf High attended Gustavus Adolphus Academy from 1893-94.
