ABSTRACT:
The Gustavus Viewbook collection consists of photographs compiled in one photo book dating from about 1940. This booklet is similar to a modern viewbook. Pictures depict the best aspects of Gustavus Adolphus College. Image topics include sports, campus buildings, and dances. This viewbook might have belonged to Wendell E. Holmquist. In addition, the book contains a letter written to Holmquist by Wendell L. Willkie. It concerned a message Holmquist had sent to Willkie earlier, and that message had touched Willkie deeply.
