ABSTRACT:
The Men’s Dormitory Superintendent’s Construction Journal collection contains one notebook of journal entries from the construction of Uhler Hall at Gustavus Adolphus College in 1929.  Progress was recorded by the superintendent on a daily basis.  Journal entries date back to 5 March 1929 and continue through 28 September 1929.  William Ingemann, the building architect, also assisted in designing several other Gustavus buildings including a women’s residence hall, a concrete stadium, and the library.  Though listed in the journal, the superintendent’s name is illegible.
