ABSTRACT:
The Gustavus Adolphus College Staffing and Programming Committee collection includes surveys, departmental interviews, statistics, communication, and planning materials.  According to Lawrence Potts who served as one of the chairs, the Staffing and Programming Committee was established in 1982 to address issues with enrollment, faculty size, and tenure, and assisted in focusing and honing departments and programs.  The committee evaluated requests for additional faculty positions and the restructuring of academic programs.  The committee existed until 1989.  Folders are arranged by academic year and include materials from the summer months.
