Collection Description

Mankato Lutheran Home.  Materials of the Mankato Lutheran Home, 1958-1967.  LCA Collection 149.  2 folders.

ABSTRACT:
The Materials of the Mankato Lutheran Home collection contains programs of the dedication ceremonies for additions to the building.  Additionally, included are pamphlets of information and guidelines for volunteers of the Home as well as the by-laws of the Mankato Lutheran Home Volunteers of the Board of Social Ministry of the Minnesota Synod of the Lutheran Church in America. The Mankato Lutheran Home, now called Pathstone Living, is located at 718 Mound Avenue, Mankato Minnesota.

Organization Note

The Mankato Lutheran Home was established in 1937 as a home for women in Mankato, Minnesota.  Over time the Home expanded its services to house and to meet the needs of senior citizens.  It changed its name to Pathstone Living as part of Ecumen, a nonprofit senior housing company.
