ABSTRACT:
The Red River Valley District collection contains legal documents for the incorporation of the Red River Valley District.  Included with the documents is information about the Lutheran Minnesota Conference’s reaction to the District’s incorporation written by Emeroy Johnson.  The Red River Valley District of the Lutheran Minnesota Conference of the Augustana Synod was located in Northwest Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota.  In 1912, the Red River Valley District left the Minnesota Conference and became the Red River Valley Conference.
