ABSTRACT:
The Red River Valley Conference Minutes and Reports collections contains the published minutes and reports from the Conference’s annual conventions.  Included in the minutes books and reports are directories, convention agendas, financial reports, statistics, and reports from various committees, congregations, and affiliated church bodies.  Minutes were published in Swedish until 1928.

Historical Note

The Red River Valley Conference began in 1912 when the Red River Valley District of the Lutheran Minnesota Conference broke away and became its own conference under the Augustana Lutheran Church.  In 1962, when the Augustana Lutheran Church merged with two other church bodies to become the Lutheran Church in America (LCA), the Red River Valley Synod was created.
