ABSTRACT:
The Manuscript Minutes of the Annual Conventions of the Red River Valley Conference contain the typed manuscript copies of the convention minutes.  These include agenda, programs, resolutions, reports, correspondence, and some planning materials, in addition to the minutes.  Minutes were written in Swedish until 1928.

Organization Note

The Red River Valley Conference began in 1912 when the Red River Valley District of the Lutheran Minnesota Conference broke away and became its own conference under the Augustana Lutheran Church.  In 1962, when the Augustana Lutheran Church merged with two other church bodies to become the Lutheran Church in America, the Red River Valley Synod was created.
