ABSTRACT:
The Alaska Correspondence of Herman and Edith Turner collection contains letters to Josephine Turner, Amy and Clarence Turner, and others. Correspondence documents the experiences of spouses Herman and Edith in Alaska and pertains to their various roles as missionaries, teachers, and farmers. Also included are newspaper articles and other materials referenced in the letters; these further document the couples’ time in Alaska.
