ABSTRACT:
The Red River District collection contains minutes from district meetings. The Red River District of the Minnesota Conference of the Augustana Synod was located in Northwest Minnesota and Northeast North Dakota. The District included parts of Beltrami, Clearwater, Kittson, Koochiching, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau counties in Minnesota and Cavalier, Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, and Walsh counties in North Dakota. The Red River District was originally part of the Minnesota Conference. When the Red River Valley Conference was created in 1912, the Red River District moved into the new conference.
