ABSTRACT:
The Correspondence of Rev. George B. McCreary collection contains letters with several congregations, most likely created due to his role as Stewardship Secretary for the Synod of the Northwest, United Lutheran Church in America. Ordained in 1931, McCreary served as Stewardship Secretary from 1951-60 and as assistant to the president from 1961-62. He retired from the ministry in 1965.
This collection is divided into series by state and then alphabetically organized within each series by congregation name. There is also a miscellaneous series comprised of photographs of pastors and other people.
