ABSTRACT:
The Lutheran Missionary Slideshows collection consists of slides, scripts, and cassette tapes from Rev. Hubert Magney. There are slides showing life in Africa, India, Jordan, Israel, and China, as well as some in the United States. The majority of the slides show the work of Lutheran missionaries. There are scripts for the slides about Africa, Israel, Tanganyika (now Tanzania) and Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Cassette tapes contain audio regarding slides from China and Petra, Jordan. These tapes were recorded by Howard C. Estep, president of World Prophetic Ministry in Colton, California, and Garnet O. Jenkins, a freelance missionary speaker from Vancouver, Canada. There are also cassette tapes regarding slides from Greece and Russia; however, there are no slides accompanying these tapes.
