ABSTRACT:
The André Malraux Correspondence collection contains letters sent to Florence Fredrickson from 1947-1965.  Malraux was a French novelist, French Minister of Information and France’s first Minister of Cultural Affairs.  Fredrickson was a professor of English and French at Gustavus Adolphus College from the 1920s-1960s.  Also included is a letter to Fredrickson from former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.  The majority of this collection if in French.
