GWS 300: Global Feminisms: Anti-War Organizations

The Digger Archives is an ongoing Web project to preserve and present the history of the anarchist guerrilla street theater group... The Diggers were one of the legendary groups in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury, one of the world-wide epicenters of the Sixties Counterculture which fundamentally changed American and world culture.

The May 4 Collection and this site have been created to assist students, faculty, staff, community members and other researchers in locating information sources related to the Kent State shootings and their aftermath.

This collection contains hundreds of photographs and documents cataloguing the history of protest and activism against war--particularly, the Vietnam War--among students, soldiers, and residents of the Pacific Northwest. The galleries are organized by theme and event.
