Copyright and Creative Licensing

The College Art Association has developed a Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for the Visual Arts.  This document is directed towards those working in a great variety of fields including artists, art historians, teachers and students who incorporate copyrighted images and work into their own work and scholarship.  It is a long document which nonetheless is essential reading for all in the arts, but the introductory sections about when and when not to apply the code and the applicable individual sections are particularly useful.
