Research in Philosophy

Philosophy involves the critical examination of the grounds for fundamental beliefs and an exploration of the means for examining those fundamental beliefs. This guide to research materials in philosophy lists some of the major reference works and indexes available in the field. It is not complete; do not hesitate to ask a librarian for further ideas if you are not finding what you need.
