Research in History

History can be defined as the study of the nature of the human past. It utilizes evidence in the form of primary sources and interprets it in a variety of ways. This guide to library resources for history covers some basic guides, reference books, and indexes to the literature of the field. There are some suggestions, also, on where to find primary source material and electronic texts using Internet.

This guide is a starting point and is not complete; please don't hesitate to ask a librarian for further assistance.
