Recorded music is available through the Gustavus Library in the following ways:
Additional Details:
The Digital Sound Online (DSO) collection consists of recordings held by the library. Our holdings are largely classical, operatic, and jazz, but most genres including musicals, soundtracks, spoken word, and sound effects are also available. N.B., These recordings are available to current students and employees on campus or off campus if you log in with your Gustavus username and password.
The Music Sound Recordings (LP Records) collection is found on the lower level of the Library in the Audio Visual Department. The results in the Library Catalog will give a call number of the recording beginning with the letters RD. There are several turntables and amplifiers for listening found in the Audio-Visual Department. The LPs may not be checked out.
